Multi Tier Module

The modules are of all welded construction which is the optimum engineering solution for the safe storage of batteries in a dynamic environment, as a bolted structured needs continual maintenance to check whether bolts have worked loose due to the vibration set up with the continual loading and unloading of batteries. The welded structure provides complete peace of mind to the end user and alsospeeds up on site installation time.

Structural rolled hollow steel sections are used in the construction of the modules to facilitate cable management from the chargers through to the plug, eliminating trailing cables.

The Modules facilitate fully supported chargers on a 600mm or 900mm non-conductive cantilevered shelf at low level for easier maintenance.

Both the two and three tier systems have a white wall cladding to the rear of the modules to separate the batteries and chargers therefore ensuring that the gases from the batteries do not come into contact with the chargers, therefore minimising the risk of explosion.

The modules are to provide an Integrated steelwork for supporting the electrical busbar for charger supplies.

The modules require safe cable management (i.e. protected DC cables), eliminating trailing cables.

The modules require Inbuilt steelwork for supporting ventilation ducting.

The modules are fitted with rollers at approximately 100mm centres. To ensure that the battery case is fully supported, eliminating the potential of cell damage and deformation of the battery case.

The roller beds are to be set to a negative fall with adjustable back stop to suit the various types of battery.
